Favorite thing about the G550JK IPS display, It's nice that it is view able from any angle! Also the signatures are pretty kick ass as well! Aesthetically the notebook is pretty pleasing as well.

I've had my Asus N550 for about 3 years now...
Keys are falling off, the speaker grill has gone and the subwoofer is... somewhere.

 

My favourite thing about this is its a "New" laptop.

As awesome as this notebook is I am a sucker for the red aesthetics. Especially the red backlit keyboard. Reminds me of my very much loved Black/Red K70!

The hardware is a great balance for most users. My favorite thing is definitely the clean styling and that red bezel around the side. At this price point you can still get a lot of plastic looking crap, but luckily Asus didn't go that route.

I think my favorite thing on that ASUS would be "Hey guys, I'm on a mountain" sign. Lol. In all seriousness I would say that the ips display is definitely the most noticeable and with the said good sounding speakers would account to quite a notebook for content consuming experience. I'd definitely like to have that experience.

I love the thinness because hauling around a massive gaming laptop as a student is impractical.

What I found absolutely great on this G550JK is ts astonishing design, its slim, light and simply great-looking thanks to its RoG color theme combing red and black, it just looks like and strongly build machine!

To be honest my absolute favourite thing about this gaming notebook is that the you get alot for the price, the power of the notebook is quite good and the looks are absolutely stunning in my opinion.
