Building a kind of budget gaming PC, planing to upgrade when 2015 inlel CPUs and nvidia 20nm GPUs hit the market.

Noctua NH-D15 

(Got this from a friend it didn't fit his case)

 

Asus  GTX760 DirectCU II OC  

(should have bought the R9 280)

 

Asus Z97-AR 

 

Kingston Fury 8GB 1866 Mhz 

(2 dims btw)

 

Samsung 840 EVO 

(No HDD maybe buying one if this is not enough)

Oh ok, my mistake.

 

Though I'm not sure how likely it is for a 2015 since they did all that "work" on Haswell refresh.

that cooler is too small ;) have you overclocked it yet? most people have got bad ones from what i've seen.

you're waiting to put in in the case to do overclocking? that is the wrong way round, you do all the overclocking outside the case while its got all the airflow, then when you put it in the case you lower it to a sensible clock speed so that it does overheat.

I got the RAM in a bundle whit the MOBO saved 20€ i would have bought black but i'm too cheap

I'm not that HC. Winters are really cold here -20°C open a window and temps drop nicely

you are lucky that is a great temperature. not quite bad enough to get frostbite wearing the correct clothes and not too warm for your cpu

What benchmarks should i run?

looks nice and clean. :). cinebench r11.5 and r15. valley, heaven, geekbench. also you could run some game benchmarks for people.

Nice, I got the same ram as you one week ago but is red. Now get AVG TuneUp, Norton 360 and Windows 8.1 Pro. Tweak every single corner of the OS.
