LG G3 vs Samsung S5

You must do odd things to your phones if you go through batteries that quickly. I've never had that issue with degradation.

Heat my friend, in a country as hot as here, and phones overheating lead to faster degradation here.

Don't buy anything from Galaxy S line. I have experience with S3 and S4 and let me tell you they age horribly. After only 1 year of usage they are left with a fraction of their initial performance.

The stone cannot know why the chisel cleaves it; the iron cannot know why the fire scorches it. When thy life is cleft and scorched, when death and despair leap at thee, beat not thy breast and curse thy evil fate, but thank the Builder for the trials that shape thee.

Erm that is because you don't take care of it lol, My mothers S3 is still very fast, and my S2 also, just their batteries are tiny

Taking care of them will get you only so far. Battery degrades very quickly and device becomes at least 2 times slower. The fault is at terrible Samsung bloatware. Samsung doesn't really care about optimization and with each update they add even more bloat. To get any kind of speed back you pretty much have to delete everything but what is the point of using a phone yet not being able to download/put anything lest it bogs down.

I heard that the G3 battary is mediocre comparing to other flagships.

The Quad HD display is too sharp but I still think the G3 is the best flagship out there.

hmm, the battery life is important, but is either of these devices compatible with a Pebble smart watch, if you know?

You say you must have a removable back cover but then you say you won't be carrying a spare battery. . .

So what's the point of "needing" a removable cover?

I'd get the one m8 over all the phones you've listed. (Then the G3)

Batteries tend to degrade here faster due to it being hot all the time, plus I like the fact the devices I listed have wireless charging, also I hate Sense 6 UI, so that is a no go for the M8

Hold off and get the OnePlus One imo. Best of all worlds (and cheaper) downside is you need an invite.

Processor: AMD FX8320 Cooler: Hyper 212 EVO Motherboard: Asus M5A99FX PRO 2.0 RAM: Corsair Vengeance 2x4GB 1600Mhz

Graphics: Zotac GTX 1060 6GB PSU: Corsair AX860 Case: Corsair Carbine 500R Drives: 500GB Samsung 840 EVO SSD & Seagate 1TB 7200rpm HDD

Go with the LG G3, One M8, or the Xperia Z2. Don't go with the S5. It's significantly worse than the S4.

G3 for movies.

M8 for music.

Z2 for camera.

You choose.

Toshiba Satellite C50 (A167)

  • Intel Pentium 2020M (Ivy Bridge, IHD 3000)
  • 8GB DDR3 (4x2)
  • 500GB Toshiba Slim 5400RPM
  • Win10 Pro x64

Huawei P8 (GRA-UL10)

  • HiSilicon Kirin 935 (arm64)
  • Android 6.0 (EMUI 4.0, TWRP 3, Sysless SuperSU)
  • 3GB RAM, 64GB NAND + 64GB SanDisk Ultra mSD

I need a contract imo, but also it will cost alot here, so I rather now buy one

G3 then I guess I dislike phones without removable back covers or wireless charging built in
