it says that UEE will not like it but okey

Not saying we wont, as Wauthar pointed out we do have some plans for it.

But if we get blocked out by UEE the casual and non Pirate people wont be too happy.

Personally i have no read the Operation Ocelot so idunno whats going on there.

In my opinion it is too early to say go or no go, as said we have the plans in development should it be a go. All of this depends on the state of the game on launch and the political situation of the UEE.

As I think I remember it you can get the carrier but if you bring it back into UEE space you will be in a huge pile of shit.

Kingship is for sure, but Bengal is also a possibility.

A few things:

A. The bengal will be persistent. So you'll need a few people in the fleet to be online at any one time to protect it and manage it, otherwise anyone else can come along and take it, or it might de-spawn and randomly populate in some other area.

B. You cannot hide it or store it in a hanger

C. You'll have to keep it in lawless and semi-lawless space.

D. It'll require a LOT of resources to revive and keep alive.

E. A single person won't be able to own it. Anyone will be able to board it and take control (people have suggested some sort of timer system so an organization can own it for a day or something before someone else is allowed to try and take it over) when its defences are down (aka the need for internal FPS defensive teams to stop such thing)

It's gonna be a tough thing to maintain but it still might be a good idea to try get one during beta so that we know what it's capable of. RSI will wipe the servers at some point anyway so we'll lose it then and with it we'll loose our "wanted" status in civilized space.

There is something about the Bengal carrier i never really get. Why can't we go into UEE space if we take one from the pirates?

Because its Military property, if a thief steals a Hangar ship from the US military and you steal it back im PRETTY sure the Military wants it back..

I think we get rewarded for returning the Ship though, cant remember.

Anything "military Classed" is UEE only, expect for the Military Hornet, VERY VERY few Early Bakers own. we are talking about maybe only 100 people.

Dunno if Chris Robert have said anything but maybe he will make a Civil version of the Bengal.

So what we stick to uncharted space and we are fine. I mean I don't think the UEE will be too friendly if we had a kingship either but nobody is complaining about that...

I don't know about you, but if we come sailing in with a KingShip, which we stole from their mortal enemy, and fight alongside of the UEE, I think they would welcome us with open arms. Such a monster is what everyone wants in their fleet.

Exactly. The infrastructure an organisation would already need to keep this thing running, and productive without running at a major loss, would have to be extremely substantial. Most of the time it'd be re-purposed as a re-fuel and re-supply station for smaller ships, or something similar.

Or just a legal way to own one. It would be much cooler to have a limited number in game that you need to fight over. Just like with space stations.

While it might be useful to have one in your fleet it seems that keeping one running in a lawless space 24/7 will be an expensive endeavor and will probably require a lot of people just to protect it.

Yes that's true but it's not in their fleet it's in ours. That thing can probably destroy a Bengal with just a few shots and it's twice as large as one. I just think they might see it as a threat.

Its a carrier, not a Warship or Destroyer, it wont blow up a Bengal in "few shots"

As for the NPC´s well if 1 big carrier is enough to spook them im pretty sure the top 3 orgs member wise will be in constant war with UEE due a threat in numbers >_>

I don't think the game is made that way, and even if it was it would not cause instant conflict, a meeting would probably come up and an agreement had to be establish between said Org and Said NPC org.

The game wont be all Black and White, or good and Evil. Just saying.

And Wauthar made a good point. If UOLTT is in a good or even Neutral relationship with UEE im pretty sure they would 1: do nothing or 2: grats us and have us in future operations VS vanduul.

Why would they suddenly see us as a threat over 1 ship is beyond me.

On a side note: the Kingship is 1/3 bigger then the Bengal.
