Now, I'm not saying that I'm selling off my PC, or well, at least not yet, but I'm curious about where I would go (other than Ebay) to sell it? I mean, Ebay's fine and all, but the shipping prices will be fairly expensive for a computer of my size.

The reason why I'm *thinking* about doing this is so that I can get the money to do another build with updated hardware. I'd rather do this, because there's quite a few things I want to swap out, so it'll just be easier to sell the computer as a whole.

So other than Ebay, what other places could I possibly sell a whole computer?

craigslist, that way the person buying it would be at most a few towns away from you, they could just come and get it themselves and you wouldnt need to worry about shipping

you could also post to the LTT classifieds :D

I could advertise it as "super 1337 gaming peesee & litecoin miner."

I dunno how much I'd get for it, but I'll do my research, like always.

I know people who have done precisely this, it does work especially if you are good at selling things.

Yeah no intelligent person will pay over $800 for that PC.

Except I'm pretty sure my PC is worth more than $800, so...

No it is not...

Just because you paid a lot for it doesn't mean it is worth that much...

Used parts lose value quickly as newer and more powerful stuff is released.

You can easily go on ebay and find similar used PCs with specs similar to yours for less than $1k
