[US] GTX 780 Ti $600 at Newegg!

MattP123

It's not your fault that this card is overkill for 1080p.

Good on you for bringing the deal here though.

I just saw a post in the recent post section and was like would you get a 780 ti and the price of which he mentioned it at was at $600. I had to investigate.

Great deal, still not worth it (for 1080p).

worth it if you want to hold 120hz 100% of the time and even then you cant max out a game and do that with a 780ti.

Desktop -  i5 4670k, GTX 770, Maximums VI Hero, 2X Kingston Hyper X 3k in raid zero.

Laptop - Lenovo X230 Intel 535 480GB, 16GB Gskill memory, Classic Keyboard Mod, Triple USB 3.0 Express Card.

To be honest a 780ti isn't enough for that, you would be better off with dual 780s or r9 290s by a lot. A 780ti currently only (kind of) makes sense for single 1440p 60hz monitors, however an r9 290x is still better bang for the buck in those conditions. Overall the 780ti is just muscle flexing by nvidia, I'd never recommend buying one.

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

Where did that 1080p comment come from ?

And not really, this card won't do all games at 120-144fps. so it's not really overkill, for 60fps games, sure it is,
