LinusTech Minecraft Server! (Coming Soon)

   So I'm working on making a unofficial LinusTech community Minecraft server.It will be fully fledged Minecraft Server with all of the exciting action that any traditional server brings you. The server will be a Factions-PvP Server with economy built in. I have many plans and goals for this server that I will be posting on this forum, I will be providing a update log every 1-2 weeks on improvements and changes. I would love for this to be an officaial LinusTech community Minecraft Server but will need you're help to get this noticed by Linus and the rest of the Tech team. I will be holding a Pre Launch Beta to check for bugs and will be selecting members as soon as its ready. Make sure to watch out for feature updates.

I don't know how to fix the title but it should be LinusTech not Linus Tech Tips lol :P

 

I think you can change the title by editing the first post.

Looks awesome, I've launched a few servers myself, for a website like this we'll need one powerful server.

Main Machine:  16 inch MacBook Pro (2021), Apple M1 Pro (10 CPU, 16 GPU Core), 512GB SDD, 16GB RAM

Gaming Machine:  Acer Nitro 5, Core i7 10750H, RTX 3060 (L) 6GB, 1TB SSD (Boot), 2TB SSD (Storage), 32GB DDR4 RAM

Other Tech: iPhone 15 Pro Max, Series 6 Apple Watch (LTE), AirPods Max, PS4, Nintendo Switch, PS3, Xbox 360

Network Gear:  TP Link Gigabit 24 Port Switch, TP-Link Deco M4 Mesh Wi-Fi, M1 MacMini File & Media Server with 8TB of RAID 1 Storage

There has been a number of minecraft servers posted here now, some of which got very popular but they have never been picked as an officail Linus Tech server before. Frankly, let's be honest here. You have 3 posts and the chance of this being a server that's recognised by everyone on here and by Linus and the team are very slim.

 

Either way, good luck and I look forward to seeing more updates B)

Hi do you need my help on the server?

I bet you can do it alone but with two people it will go a little bit faster right?

Aso I can help u out with free hosing! I have an server running with dual 2GHz Xeon and 64GB of ram so we can host 1000+ slots at the linus tech tips server! Would be great, right?

I have lost of experience with mc servers and java but i stopped with servers like a half year ago becuz the 8-9-10 year old kids online and on my own server, the only thing they seem to like is 'trolling' and using the word lol every 2 seconds!! so yeah! but I think the average watcher (forum member) of linus tech tips will be a little older =p

So I'm giving free hosting for the server in trade for an Admin rank to keep the annoying 8 year olds of xD!

I would love to have a server to play with people. Especially a modded server with something like hexxit, I haven't found any decent ones I like. But I have tried that hard either.
