Mt Friend thinks that the Master Chief collection and Smash Bros is better than all PS4 exclusives and titles on both platforms.

So as the title says, my friend rather have an XboxOne with just the master chief collection and a Wii U with Smash Bros rather than a PS4 with all its games and upcoming games (not exclusives, all games). I told him that is just an opinion but he claims that it's true for all people. (i know that part was a bit of a troll). My Friend didn't watch E3 2013 or 2014 and he doesn'y watch or read hardly anything about games besides subreddits and he barely knows any current or upcoming exclusives on the PS4. He also doesn't know many games that asre coming to both consoles. What do you guys think? Is my friend right?

And this matters to why?

 

I only like Mario Kart from Nintendo and Uncharted from Sony, and Halo from MS. My needs are hilariously simple. I don't find much value in Nintendo or Sony otherwise, and MS is only because this time around all my friends went with the One. Subjective preferences are just that, subjective. Who cares what people like and what rationale they use? 

 

 

And your friend kinda isn't wrong IMO (and only in my opinion). Smash Bros will wipe the floor in sales with anything Sony can put out.

 

And Halo? I mean, you have to realize that Sony has been trying for YEARS to make a "Halo killer" in Killzone and it never worked. Halo is THE tent pole that Sony can't re-create. Nintendo can, and does. But Sony doesn't have that "killer" app that is worth 3 billion dollars as a franchise now. They just don't. MCC will probably spank everything Sony releases this winter, and it isn't a stretch to say that. Halo is huge, the MCC collection is a little nutty on the value you get and its leveraging a name that has more power than any Sony exclusive could dream of having. 

 

But once again, subjective. I have my reasons, your friend has his. Live and let live.
