Monitor help (U2711)

GlassBomb

So, for a while my Dell U2711 have had this problem with when my computer goes into sleep mode my right (primary) monitor become all like... this...

Do any of you know what could cause this? What also happens from time to time is that the screen freezes when I turn off the computer (screen only showing the "shutting down windows").

I'm currently using DisplayPort for both my displays. Have tried checking if it is just a bad connection with the cord, and checked with multiple out's on my graphics card (ASUS 6950 Direct CU (Has x4 DisplayPort)).

Might check with DVI to see if that fixes this whole issue. But I like DisplayPort :c

try a different computer if you can. If problem is still there it is probally the monitor.

If the other computer makes the monitor work fine try updating the gpu drivers, using dvi or vga to test. Also try using a linux bootable usb as the linux drivers are different.
