Why... Why not just games? I miss the older steam (or Origin)

Oh come on, what does it change for you? I'm so tired of people saying "I miss the old [insert something .. anything ..] because it wasn't like this". 

 It's very nice that they sell software, especially the modeling/texturing softwares that can be used to create mods for .. oh wait, for your games! :P

 

And even if it's music production softwares or whatever, it's still a great deal for people who work with these kind of softwares.

 

There's nothing to be upset about, a pointless and unfounded complaint really.

Is Assassins Creed 3 good btw? my first game of the series, that a good starting point?

I agree that if it comes at the cost of less games deals, then I'd rather see them stick to games since that's what the majority of the users are interested in.

 

However, is there any "evidence" at the moment that the video games sales will be less frequent, less important, no as good anymore? This is not a rhetorical question, I'm curious if anything was said/proven about that. ^^

I'm actually okay with music creation/creation software being sold and being put on the Steam Sale.

Nah. Start with AC 2 if you can, it was really good compared to the other ones. The first one you could stop playing after the first city because it was that same thing over and over until the end, second one and Brotherhood were good, third one sucked and the last one is apparently good but I stopped playing after AC 2 so I'm just going by reviews and comments.

Good thing: DisplayFusion is on sale yet again, for all who have 2 or more displays. Bad thing: most of other software are pure B-class. Only decent video editor is Magix...
