Having trouble setting up a mic

Hi there,

For a while now, I've been having issues setting up a mic. Whenever I plug in a mic, it doesn't show on recording devices. I have tried everything but have found no method that has fixed this issue. Here's what I see when I look at my recording devices. I have tried multiple devices, however none of them seem to work. When I plug them into another PC, they work fine, indicating there is an issue with my computer. Thanks for your help in advance.

Not that I can tell. It may be that there's something on my pc causing a bit of trouble. Currently, I'm trying to uninstall realtek, however it seems to be reluctant.

are you using the front panel connector or the rear panel? and from the looks of your picture you should not have a "stereo mixer" under your recording devices.

i would start by checking your realtek settings, sometimes you can set your mic input into a line in input. that would cause your mic to stop working

It's a USB Device

update USB drivers. Go to device manager and see if there are any question marks.

Just tried that - I went to troubleshoot, however it didn't fix it.

Have you updated the USB drivers for your motherboard?

So I installed these drivers:gyazo.com/b1979ae3d636220bbea847bdb44dd932

but now it's doing something different when I look at my recording devices. Also, on teamspeak, it says the the device is invalid. I don't know if this is relevant, but when I take a look at realtek audio manager, the only option provided is digital output.

You installed drivers for the sound card which already worked... try rebooting. Get the USB driver (I think MSI puts it in the chipset driver)

I tried to install the chipset driver, but it told me I didn't reach the minimum requirements to install it

I installed the Chipset driver, but still the mic's not working. It still says the device is invalid and is giving me a code 10 error
