Static pressure fans for rad in a custom loop

Go to solution Solved by squirrl,

I'm using GT's and most of the time they don't even need to be on. When they're on the fastest setting all i can hear is the airflow and nothing much else :P

I am currently looking at a couple of fans to put on my quad radiator. I'm torn between two fans at the same price range. The gentle typhoons noctua p12s. I'm not sure which has a higher static pressure rating at the same speed and a lower noise level. The colours of the noctua don't matter to me as they won't be seen. I can't afford the f12s because they are out of my price range unfortunately. Pls help me with your opinions.

Corsair sp120 quiet editions ?

I wouldn't recommend these. Even though they say quiet edition, they're quite loud. I'm using them in my system.

Corsair sp120 quiet editions ?

I didn't even consider those as the gt's noise level is much lower and lower pitched as well.

Do you think they'll be good running at low speed on 2 60mm thick rads?

They should be fine. I have them running on 2 30mm 480 rads so 60mm ones would disperse much more heat ;)

Corsair sp120 quiet editions ?

They are pretty crap tbh.

I would get the GT's as they are the best fan you can buy, the only reason everyone doesn't have them is because they are hard to find.
