Why can't we use cpus in tandem the way we do with Xeons? From what I've heard it's a feature that's actually fused off.

Would removing integrated graphics on the Intel CPUs drop the price significantly? Maybe have a line of i7s without integrated graphics? I'm using an i7 920 on X58 (which doesn't have integrated graphics) and never wanted them nor needed a use for them.

Why is there such a large price difference between the desktop i5s and the i7s when it would appear that they cost exactly the same to build/design?

Intel are leaders in setting/working on new standards, the ATX motherboard spec is outdated now with insufficient space for big power PCI-E devices, excessive space where the southbridge used to be and inefficient use of space for the IO panel due to so much being 'on-board' now, is there any work going into a new standard?

CPU: FX 6300 @ stock Mobo: Gigabyte 990FX UD5 v3.0 GPU: 1 x R9 290 4GB RAM: 24GB DDR3 1600 SSD: Kingston HyperX 3K 120GB HDD: 1 x 1TB & 1 x 500GB PSU: BeQuiet PowerZone 1000W Case: Coolermaster Elite 370 (upside down due to lack of stick thermal pads for memory heatsinks) CPU Cooler: Thermalright Ultra Extreme 120 GPU Coolers: Thermalright HR03-GT Fans: 5 x Akasa Apache Blacks, 1 x Corsair 120mm SP HP (GPU) & 1 x Noctua 92mm
Most of this was from mining rig, hence the scewy specs (especially PSU)

I'd be up for another live stream like this. It has actually been very interesting and informative. I especially liked that a couple hardball questions got thrown in.

Huge thanks to Darrin and thanks for hosting this Linus!
