Arctic Silver MX-2 and Noctua NT-H1 are what I've been using, and they work great.

MX2

or Radioshack

Whatever, any thermal paste will do it's work there is a 1-2°c difference between the best and the worst

but don't use glue or something

Actually bad thermal paste can dry up from heat causing for almost no thermal conductivity and that's likely the rat shack stuff.

Arctic cooling MX-4

This is the latest one I've been using. Got it on both my GPU's, and will use it on my CPU when I put in a custom loop. Works well and gets my recommendation.

As mentioned though, all the common ones are pretty close. You can look up tests online, but it really comes down to just choosing one to go with out of the commonly known good group.

Never say it's not broken. Everything is broken. Why? Because everything needs MOAR POWA!
