should ask for a picture because I'm pretty sure everyone has it disabled.

Ok I will or skype screen share since we skype everyday he lives about 250 km from me so abit of a hassle to see if its true.

I think the performance mode was because the server/forums couldn't handle the request the other day so they swithced it to that mode so it could run properly.

it just shows who was looking at topics

but why is that beneficial,  you know who's look at what topics because if you hover over their name it tells you.  Maybe I am naive about this but it seems like a redundant feature anyway.

it's just a forum feature that many forums has, and it's been on here for a while. People just don't like change.

Nope, its because of the high performance mode the forum is in. It will be back whenever they put the forum back to normal. This is mostly due to the DDOS the other day
