Corsair Quality?

My corsair vengeance 2000 (yea the model before the 2100) cracked and practically fell apart while wearing it, was a common problem and was apparently addressed in the 2100 version.
They wanted me to spend >$50 to ship it overseas for an RMA, yea thanks a lot Corsair... First experience with the brand, not really impressed to be honest.

I once accidentally left the remote control to my garage door in the washing machine but it worked just fine afterwards.
