I am looking forward to playing this game called "The Forest" when I get my PC. They say that it is in alpha but from the looks of it on Youtube, it is pretty amazing for an "alpha". I also hear that it just got a major update yesterday...

Now, you know what you can expect from these barbarians. They are a race of rabid BASTARDS that will fight us tooth and nail! But they don't know what they're up against. Cyrodiil, is CIVILIZATION! Cyrodiil, is ORDER! Cyrodiil is POWER! And out here, WE. ARE. CYRODIIL.

Battlefield Hardline is working pretty good actually...its in its beta stage so it will probably be perfected when the final game is out. Surely EA learned from their mistakes...

I was talking about BF4 which was out for around 7 months before they patched it.

The game sounds really good, but It is still very buggy, and I don't really want to buy it just yet. All of the bugs take away from the immersion, so I would rather wait until they get the game more refined.

It is a really good game ecspecially when you consider it's only a 4 man team developing it I love the game and it is the best $15 I've ever spent

I would say the forest alpha was worse when it first came out. I was put off it because of that so I don't know if it got better.  I mean, there have been some pretty gamebreaking things in the forest like shacks being built in mid air and stuff.

Beneath this mask there is more than flesh. Beneath this mask there is an idea, Mr. Creedy, and ideas are bulletproof.

As I get older I get angrier more cynical, meaner. I feel some warning posts coming. I feel a ban coming. I was warned.

And your point? I don't even think it's Alpha yet, it might still be pre-Alpha. By the time it's Beta, the game will most likely not have many bugs.

My point? Don't buy into it now as it's a shit experience. Also that BF4 had about the same amount of game breaking bugs.

Yeah, but BF4 was the 'final' product that they actually sold to people. The Forest actually has a warning on the game's page that says the game is broken and it's only pre-alpha.

Don't care. Just as long as I'm not buying the same thing again for PC. Hardline proves to be different.

I have The Forest, it was given to me by a friend of the devs. I played around with it, but there really isn't much to do. It looks pretty, and the animations are very well done, but the gameplay just isn't there. I've been telling people that unless you want to support the development, it's not a real fun alpha to play more than once.
