Battlefield: HardLine Beta PS4 vs. PC Graphics Comparison

ShadyHost

I guess this counts as a review.

I got codes for both PC and PS4 this morning for the Battlefield: Hardline Beta. So far my experience is that the PC version is a lot more polished. While the FPS dips are a little iffy I feel like it runs smoother overall and is easier to play. The playstation version seems to have a lot of texture pops and performance dips. The loading time on PS4 is also super long and almost unbearable.

Here is the video:

With the compression on YouTube it is almost hard to tell the difference. Maybe some still frames from the original source recordings would do better?

The colours for this game make me feel like it's cartoonish, of course, I'm used to the overly blue/grey hue on normal battlefield games. And of course PC ultra is going to look better than a console, look at the price and hardware differences.

I don't know what to think about this game. It seems like they are rushing it out and I doubt it will be as polished as Battlefield 4.

Also the news casting theme is already super old. I don't want a back story in my competitive shooter. The US vs. Russia thing was fine in the previous games was fine as long as it was limited to player model and callout language, but its annoying when I feel like I'm playing Lego City: Undercover every time the match ends.

Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. (It didn't work)

Though, it will be interesting to see if the bugs are in the engine. Which would make this game shitty too.

I don't think the current ultra preset will be the future one, because my 660 can run ultra on 50-60fps constant with dips down to 35 and I think it looks like poop right now compared to BF4
