Looking for a new monitor

Hey guys so I have two older Asus 24 inch monitors and I am looking to replace the one I use for gaming with something a bit better. 

 

I'm not a hardcore fps guy or anything like that and I would much rather have rich colors and overall higher picture quality. I'm fine with the size being 24 in or upgrading to 27 inch I am just concerned with picture quality. I would really like to keep this purchase at or under $500

 

Any advice would be great!

 

BTW I am in the US in case that matters.

Then just choose the model that fits your budget and you think looks best :)

i would stay an 24". more isnt a great experience imo.

I was only going 27 inch to get 1440p. More pixels = better quality images IMO
