First Job

Okay so I just got my first job (I start tomorrow) I work for the IT department at our school, I will be getting paid minimum wage I will be working from 7 - to 3 

 

 

Any general tips about a first job you should give me would be awesome.

Ask questions to clarify things and to show you're actively listening, don't spout off that you know things or how to do something if someone is showing you how to do something.

Work hard and only accept the job if it is truly the one you can and will do. I applied for a job at a care home a while back $23 and hour pay at 18 years old is not bad. I hated it only stayed 9 months then quit, it was just a lousy job. The people including my boss loved me so it ended up ok and she understood. The moral of the story is make sure you are willing to what you singed up for.
