Windows 2000 Professional

I actually like 2000 pro a lot, but none of my current machines (as in the ones that will turn on and operate for an extended period of time outside of BIOS) will run it well. The HP don't have drivers for it (or XP, or Vista, but both of those is a simple matter of looking at Intel for drivers (display, chipset, and wireless card). The Wireless card in the T61p will not operate the wireless properly with the windows 2000 driver on their (lenovo) website, and Intel does not provide a 2k driver for the chip on their site. :( Much sad.

Does windows 95 on a Greyscale screen count? (With up to 8 greys!)

Oh yea, ALR Ranger M! 15MB Graphics VRAM. And a 400MHz (Or so) CPU. Also runs DOS 6.22! Came out 1990 (Mine is a 1991)

It was the very first mechanically modular designed notebook computer ever.

I love you included the at work/school option.

You gotta do you girl. I always say you gotta do you. And if he's doing him, then who's doing you? Because right now, it seems like no one's doing you.

My dad still has something along the lines of Athlon 6000+, 1GB of RAM, and some older FX card. As a daily use machine. He has a newer one with something in the 8xxx line of CPUs from AMD, Radeon HD 6770 1GB, and 8GB of RAM sitting around doing nothing.

I love you included the at work/school option.

My school district still has about 600 of them deployed... Only the high school has computers with Windows 7, and even then some of the teacher's laptops still have XP.
