Project Simple Beaut:A build by CreepersCrawlers (DONE FOR NOW)

Thanks @Rumikarimu for making the banner for me :)

Hello my lovely people at LTT! I am going to be upgrading my build in a couple days and I figure why no post it on here? This build is going to be used for gaming and a bit of video editing. So the reason why I am upgrading is because:

Stock cooler on my cpu is annoying and I want to overclock
My GTX 650 is crap and I can just barely play BF4 on it at low settings at 1080p
Want to get an SSD and add some more space so I could dual boot Mac OSX on my rig
My eXtreme Power Plus PSU is god awful

I am aiming for a blue color scheme for this build, so I might buy some blue cable extensions in the future and shtuff
The Parts that I am using for Project Simple Beaut:
CPU: Intel Core i5 4670K(Reusing from current state of build)
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo(ARRIVED)
Motherboard: Gigabyte Z87X UD3H(Reusing from current state of build)
Memory: G.Skill Ares 8GB DDR3 1866mhz(ARRIVED)
Graphics Card: EVGA GTX 780 FTW Edition(ARRIVED)
Storage: Currently have 1 500GB WD Blue Hard drive. I am adding a Samsung 840 Evo 120GB SSD and a 1TB Seagate Drive(ARRIVED)
Power Supply: XFX XTR 750W 80+ Gold PSU(ARRIVED)
Case:Fractal Design Define R4(Reusing from current state of build)
LEDs: Bitfenix Alchemy 30cm white LED strip(ARRIVED)
I will be posting pics here once I upgrade the system.

PSU seems a bit overkill, the case doesn't go with the rest of the theme and Y U 212 EVO?!?!?

It's only $107 at NCIX and it's 80 plus gold as well as fully modular. Also I <3 my define R4 so much I don't wanna get rid of it! :P

Does it have semi-fanless mode?

Why would he need something better?

I think it's overdone.

BEcause the Evo 212 keeps my hot hot hot 8350  17 degrees celsius idle and doesn't really cross 35 degrees playing games over 5 hrs >:') here in the Caribbean it's usually 25-31 degrees celsius jussayin :D    750w  80+ bronze is perfect ... can't possibly be overkill m8

Your motherboards/CPU temperature sensors are faulty then, unless your room is under 17 degrees Celsius.  It's physically impossible to Air cool something below the air's temperature.

Ambient room temp varies between 15-21 degrees celsius

Runs up to 25 degrees celsius with fans off and windows closed

All aluminium case, keeps everything cool during the day as it steals the heat from the components , and we're talking about lack of airflow here :P

Some quick updates:
Due to circumstances that I don't feel like sharing, I wasn't able to order the parts until now. The good news is I am going to be using an EVGA GTX 780 FTW edition for my rig instead of the 770 I put earlier. THIS MACHINE WILL BE BUILT! :D

Well here are the parts that have arrived so far. The Amazon order got cancelled for some odd reason so I had to reorder them.

I have a 650 as well and I completely know how you feel. The guy at Microcenter was just like, "Ehh, you'll get the same performance as a 7770 for a little bit cheaper (I was originally going to get an XFX HD7770)."

AND I LISTENED TO HIM

Nvidia trap?

You gotta do you girl. I always say you gotta do you. And if he's doing him, then who's doing you? Because right now, it seems like no one's doing you.

Fix that damned cable management. I did as good with IDE cables and a non-modular PSU. :P
