So I don't know where to put this but since I'm trying to post something on Maxthon's forum why I don't like it. I get an automated message saying that: "Sorry, your content (signature, posts, messages etc.) contains banned words."

This is what I'm trying to post and it's also why I don't like the browser and have a new found hate for there forums and community. I assumed it was because of there spellchecker seeing the word "firefox" but even changing it to "fire fox" didn't help. I removed dashes it used to say "Like say the backend is chrome" and I put a space in backend assuming they thought I meant butt, but it still wouldn't even let me post what I have below

Anyways, I used maxthon awhile back maybe 3 to 6 months ago, It was okay but I switched back to fire fox quite quickly. I decided to try it out again, and let me I'm using fire fox now and I've spent about 2 days with the new version. I hate it. The lack of ad blockers is kinda annoying but when I try to install different ad blocking extensions now some pages will just not load at all and be completely white. I understand that Max thon isn't a very well known browser therefore they won't have as much to offer, but I just can't deal with maxthon, no ad blockers why No ads was removed? I don't know, and maxthon uses the same extension for there themes etc as opera so having opera also installed didn't help, but why should I uninstall Opera to make something else work? Maxthon identifies itself as Chrome for some reason, but uses Opera extensions and looks like a complete copy of Opera? I understand this is a mix of every browser but can't you make it use one thing as a base? Like say the back end is chrome meaning the browser identifies itself as Chrome, uses Chrome's extensions etc. The thing that really made me mad was Maxthon has it's own ad blocker but basically doesn't use it for anything useful example: Pandora or YouTube ads, and the lack of and other good ad blocking extension really made me mad which is one of the main reasons I switched back within 2 days.
Please don't just get mad at me because I don't like the browser. This is just supposed to be constructive criticism.

FYI, the backend on Opera is also Chrome. So having been based on those two projects isn't as odd as it seems.

I cannot be held responsible for any bad advice given.

I've no idea why the world is afraid of 3D-printed guns when clearly 3D-printed crossbows would be more practical for now.

My rig: The StealthRay. Plans for a newer, better version of its mufflers are already being made.

Well to be honest I didn't do much research but I see your point.

So your biggest complaint is that you can't block ads? That's a really... pointless reason to hate a browser.

No, just alot of the features either didn't work or weren't useful to me. The main thing that made me think is why I can't post that to there forums. It almost seems like they won't allow any bad posts about there browser. Almost like they sugarcoat everything and alter your bad things to good things like "I hate this browser" to "I love this browser"

It makes sense that it would recognize iteself as Chrome, since it's based off of Opera, which is based off Chromium, the open-source version of Chrome.

And I kind of hated it too, since (for me) it glitched out. A lot.

The first time I used it, It would constantly say it crashed but still worked until I acknowleged the crash window. It also really pissed me off that with 2 monitors I couldn't drag one tab over at a time and make it as a new window like firefox. Plus It woudln't open another windows for some reason.
