These people are damaged beyond belief, 'Thank God for 11 more dead troops'. I'm no religion expert but I was always told that 'GOD' loves all of his children regardless of the path they took but what is with the Westboro Baptist Church's extreme stance on homosexuality and also what is with the 'Thank God for another dead troop', I find it kind of annoying but I'm brushing that to one side and looking at it in a curiousity point of view.

It makes me pissed off and worried that people like this actually exist in this very small planet of ours.

 

OK homosexuality is against religion but wow, I thought hatred (or this calibre of hatred anyway) wasn't acheiveable to a religious person.

 

How many people have come across this church before because I've just stumbled apon though I think I saw a documentary that was presented by Louis Theroix (unless it was someone else) about it a while ago but I really can't remember.

 

One thing I want to clear up before the war starts, a war is not my intention so can we all be civilised and from religious based threads in the past has shown that we are all civilised and are capable of civilised discussion about sensitive topics (OK some threads were a mess, granted) so I'm hoping it will be demonstrated once more here. I wasn't going to post this but I ignored my instinct and posted it anyway, please don't prove that my instint correct.

I just don't get these people. Just thinking about them gives me a headache, but the worst part of it is that they hate homosexual people but can't give a good reason for it. I just wish these people all had gay sons/daughters, would you not love your child because he's gay? Meh religion is there to give answers to questions we yet have the ability to answer. It's basically a book of morals for people to follow, like everything else on this world you have to adapt to survive so unless religions get with the time and adapt to how the world changes it won't survive.

There people make a mockery of legitimate churches, and to be quite frank, I want to kill them. Like really? "Thank God 11 more Soldiers are dead"? They lay down their lives to protect the country and that's ALL you can say when they die?! Holy crap.... Idiots.

Um actually, they have had multiple children that do not believe in their doctrine. They don't talk to them or contact them in any way. They act as if they never existed.

According to the bible since god loves everyone he should technically love people who don't believe in him too. Therefore the religion vs atheist hate is quite pointless and hypocritical.
