why not game with bluetooth game controller on pc,but game with bluetooth dualsense on ps5?

a lot of said the Bluetooth connection on windows has high latency ,it would be better to use 2.4ghz rf wireless controller on pc gaming

Does the Bluetooth dual sense also have high latency on ps5?

Does an extra usb blutooth dongle  for connecting  dual sense  to pc fix that ?I mean the blutooth is low propriety task on windows 10

or built in wifi/bt module on motherboard is good enough?

I've used Dualshock over both USB and Bluetooth to PCs and can't say I notice any latency. Do you have proof of excessive latency for any of these? For example, do you know of any good testing to show it?

Bluetooth inherently has lower polling rates than 2.4ghz or proprietary wireless technologies (Logitech's Lightspeed), but it really comes down to the type of gaming you do. Single-player RPG's and such, probably will never notice. Competitive FPS's...if you're in the top 1% or so, you might. But if you're playing competitive FPS's at that level, either A) why aren't you on MxK or 2) it's irrelevant to your skill level. Biggest thing for me would be comparing battery life on Bluetooth vs 2.4ghz. Charging/replacing batteries is my personal biggest pain point with wireless controllers and why I tend to stick with wired.

No idea if this is a real article or just AI, seems real, but some insight I guess.

For me it's good enough even for games requiring fast input like a pinball game. It is not enough though when I try to use the same controller on a steam deck. Latency there is unbearable. On PC I use external tplink bt dongle tho

Low latency and higher bandwidth bluetooth performance for things like dualshock to playstation, airpods to iphone etc is done with a proprietarily expanded bluetooth spec special sauce. Said devices do work on official bluetooth spec as well, but not anywhere as near as capably.

Vanilla bluetooth SUCKS for anything you would actually want for 2026 era tech. It's why standard bluetooth headsets suddenly turn into 1950s telephone quality when you pick up a call, and why bluetooth mice have an almost unusably high latency.

AND, sidenote, a lot of people confuse proprietary dongle wireless devices with bluetooth.
