US Shipping Delays

Go to solution Solved by Notrandomusername,

After making the stink I've made over the last week it has finally made it to first scan for me. I'm happy that it finally got to that point, but truthfully until this is addressed publicly and rectified I definitely wouldn't order anything else from LTT (if served by their US distribution).

image.png.01c5754949dbf5dd695ee0b2e51b91e8.png

If everything they're saying is true about the situation, then I understand their position that they have very little control. However, as a consumer I still wouldn't recommend anyone else order from them given they aren't communicating significant issues up front with their shipping.

over 3 weeks does not equal 3 to 9 days the order says.

image.png.3f7abadfbed0d57bcd08e9e05bc37655.png

One of these things is not like the other.

Since it took 2 weeks for the Logistics Partner for LTT to even get the Order to the US Post office, I think LTT Leadership should complete a Surprise Inspection of them and step on some people.

image.thumb.png.e9d844ac5cbf19831975a074e4d01144.png

I highly doubt it will receive this today.

And yes i have asked Support for feedback.

Here is their responses:
image.thumb.png.8e68588bc4b0efa877ed0d94799fdde8.png
And when I asked for escalation
image.thumb.png.48fa1616701284ac264dcddcbe41994d.png

You know I feel like instead of saying it is not us it is them mentality is not a valid answer.

BTW All Post office parcels are scanned in the day they are received in the USA.

The very fact there is a two week delay indicates something else.

No i do not want a refund, no I do not want to return it. I wouldn't have purchased it if I didn't want it.

@LinusTech @Adam Pilolla whomever replaced Nick and other LTT Leaders.

BTW today is 3 weeks after the "Label" was printed.

What will LTT do about this?

The problem with USPS is that the snails that they use to move the mail are getting older and can't move as fast and also with the current weather conditions their arthritis and rheumatism are making it even harder for them. Hopefully, they'll be able to hire younger snails to replace the retirees.

Funny, But the handling of Letters and Packages is Automated.

Just like it is for UPS and Fedex.

Funny thing to @Adam Pilolla
PayPal still has Nick Light Attached to the PayPal side of Creator Warehouse when you look at things there.

Just thought I would let LTT Know.

After Black Friday every year shipping companies are behind until about the new year. So don’t buy shit between Black Friday and Christmas, then you won’t be disappointed about how long it takes.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.

Funny you say that But I shipped Packages to Indiana and Oregon well after my Order was placed and they both Arrived before Xmas.

and I've order things that were delivered via USPS timely during the same time.

So Yes I will call it a Issue with the Logistics Partner LTT is using in the USA and not USPS Shipping.
If it was actually given to the Post Office on the 9th of December i would have it now, not be upset about it.

Let me tell you a story about what happened after Opening the Support ticket on this delivery.

Go to watch TV and a Smart light was out.
Did the basic troubleshooting, moved the light to a new lamp, tried everything i could.
Contacted Support to ask for my Options as the Bulb was less than 2 months old.
Within an Hour they were shipping me a new Replacement Bulb.

And I got before the LTT Order as i have yet to receive my Desk Pad.

I would have accepted varying different responses from the Support team on this and graded it on my Professional scale.
As i have Worked in IT for 20+ Years from starting out as a Helpdesk Agent up to my Current role as an IT Engineer currently focused on Intune.

Excellent - what they did.
Pretty dang good - "sorry to hear that, please purchase a replacement and we will refund you the money."

Decent - Troubleshoot and attempt to revive it and then several weeks/hours later replace it.

OK - Same as above but taking a LONG Time between replies.
Not good - Short answers and a link to a video that is nothing like the product you have.
Rotten - Similar to OK and Not Good but ending with "Sorry about your Luck"
Negative 100% - ghost

So based on this scale, LTT is Decent to Pretty dang good? They have both offered a refund and have verified that they are already investigating the issue.

To make it Excellent then i would say the Order site should have a Disclaimer - "Due to Shipping Delays with Various Logistics Partners you Order may not ship for x number of days."

With the "X" being a true Number.

Still say this is an Issue with the Logistics Partner in the USA that LTTStore is using and not an Issue with the Post Office or any other Shipping that LTT Could be using in the US.

At the Post Office they can tell you when your package should arrive when you ship it.

Like I previously said

But I do agree with the above USPS is incredibly... bad ...

Long story short: I've been waiting on a package for over 3 months because it was apparently in "Springfield" on vacation for several weeks, then over a month in "Morocco" (I kid you not) and 2 weeks or so in "Paris" (why.......) and then 1-2 weeks at "customs"....  Think about that, you can't trust them full stop lol...

The only thing you could blame the seller for is using usps in the first place (which I'm not sure they even have a say in)

The direction tells you... the direction

It has been received 23 days after Purchase and 8 days after the USPS Post office received it.

As I may have said in this and other Messages - LTT Leadership needs to step on the LTT Logistic Partner in the USA.

The day after I asked Support to Verify that the Package did in fact leave the Logistics Partner Location it was scanned into the Post Office.
Seems unlikely that was a coincident that this timing happened.

Did @Adam Pilolla or LTT Leadership inquire when I asked, I don't know.

But the Timing of the Events is Funny.

My Current issues are Resolved, However Others having Shipping Delays in the USA I cannot speak on.

With the Large Number of Screenshots i have seen for the Various Shipping Types: USPS, UPS, FedEx.
All for US Customers where there is a Rather Large time gap between Print of Label and Initial scan from the Carrier.

What is the US Logistics Partner LTTStore doing with this time gap?
Does LTT Merch only get received once a Week/Month, so that is when the Company Processes Outbound Packages?

While I work in the IT Field now I have worked in Warehouse/Shipping Centers before.
Product comes in One Side of the Building and Leaves the other.
Hence why the two sides are called Shipping and Receiving.

Scenario 1: Fedex, USPS, or UPS picks up a Shipment They scan it in at time of Pickup!

Scenario 2: Someone Delivers a Package to a Shipping Vendor, be it Fedex, USPS, or UPS, they scan it in at time of Drop-off!

When you see a time gap of weeks between Label Printed to Initial Scan for shipping Vendor this is not due to backlog, but due to actual days between label printed and the shipping partner receiving the item.

I can only ask What Linus Media Group/Creator Warehouse will do about it?

Happy to received my Desk Pad but instead of 23 Days from Order to receiving Item, If the item did in fact Leave on the 9th at worst i should have had it by the 18 not the 31st.

Can't say what they do now, but in the past it was THEM that was doing this. They would get the order, print the label immediately but then only ship product out once a week or something like that. So the email that a label was created would be sent, despite the order still sitting in the LTT warehouse.

The label should only be printed when the order is packed and ready to leave THAT DAY.

I will admit that is a good question. Its possible they ran out of product, or they just dont keep the logistics partner well stocked. The other thing to think about is that the logistics partner probably has many clients, meaning LTT might have limited shelf space in that warehouse.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.

And do you see anything wrong with that?

Personally I do. Given that the LTTStore page for orders NEVER mention disclaimers like - "Usually Ships within 1 to 3 weeks", "Shipments leave warehouses weekly".
Do I think Shipments should go out same day? NO

Do I think shipments should go out Next Day? Possibly
Do I believe that Shipments should go out 2nd day after Order? Absolutely

This would all be on When the Label is printed, of course.

LTTStore Order page had nothing about Limited Quantities or Back Orders.

Either way Business wise Sitting on Orders for 3 weeks after Money has left my Pocket is not a good thing.

I know LTT doesn't have the Money of Amazon but orders on Amazon are not charged until they ship.

Ordered on Nov 30th, Label on Dec 3rd, didn't actually get shipped until Dec 23rd when it started scanning. The AI auto reply to my support email was less than useful just regurgitating my question back at me as an answer and adding "wait longer" to it and blaming the carrier. A real support person did follow up, but they also blamed the carrier even though it wasn't even with the carrier as of yet. Once it got with the carrier I did get it within a week. From order to when I got my merch, it was a month. If this was 1994 and it was mail order, that might be a decent timeframe, but it isn't 1994 anymore. If they cared about fulfillment as much as they care about the clear screwdrivers this probably wouldn't have been an issue.

Mine started moving the same day. Almost like Someone at "Bob's Fulfillment Center" got asked did these in fact move?
Of course the answer was Yes.
Followed by to self "guess I better get some work done."

Fun Fact.
USPS Can refuse a Package the USPS Label and "Ship Date" are not valid.
AKA Print label and the Defined Ship Date are in the past.

  • 1 month later...

Looks like this is still an issue going into february at this point.

Nearly a week now on 'label created'. The support message says it was definitely shipped at time the label was created but I live only about 300 miles from that location. If it had actually been dropped off it would've already made it here.

I'm of the opinion that either LTTs logistics partner is lying to them about when orders actually get shipped or they're having supply chain issues regarding stocking their US warehouse.

I would suggest pushing back to Support and ask for escalation and to have Creator Warehouse verify the shipment was dropped off at the shipper.
Nothing Shipped with any of the Shippers in the USA can move from Point A to B without it being scanned.

Scanned in at the shipper, goes to The Main shipping Hub, split at the Hub to Rough Destination, then Possibly to the City for destination, then on the truck for delivery.

At each and every point in the movement it will be scanned.

When I pushed back to CW about verifying the package was indeed shipped it was scanned into Post Office the next day.

So, I do agree the Logistic Partner LTT/Creator Warehouse is using is indeed sitting on orders.

Label created same day on the truespec order on release. Tomorrow will mark 2 weeks of them not getting the package moving. I don't mind delays, but i despise the "your order is on the way" notifications when they just create a label immediately and don't do anything for weeks. I haven't ordered since the big ol US split but damn, if this has been how it's been now, kinda sucks.

Thats the thing that gets me. I work in a warehouse. I pick/ pack orders. We dont create any shipping labeling until the order is ready to ship. Because in order to create a label we need weight, Length, Width and Height of the box(s).

Years ago when I worked in a warehouse, this was also how we did it. Printing the label was the last step of the process. Print the pick slip, pick the parts, pack the parts, measure and weigh the box, print the label, out the door. All done on the same day. When they mentioned that they print the label and held them for (at the time they said) a week, I was flabbergasted.

I'm waiting on a backpack to do..............anything..........

Ordered 8 days ago, label created the same day as I ordered, Jonesboro, GA, and that's it. I have asked the AI Agent for a human; there has been no reply yet. I can't get anything, and I'm starting to feel like this is a bait and switch.

I've ordered lots of things from LTT, usually 7 days from order to delivery. This Georgia warehouse seems to be a mess. If it's a USPS issue, give me the option to use a different carrier.

I recall Linus stating on the WAN show recently that LTT is a big part of this warehouses business. That leads me to believe its a very small company. The warehouse needs to change its processes for managing orders. Where I work, the shipping label isnt printed until the order is ready to ship.

As far as picking shipping. Well thats a mixed bag. Because your shipping charge might go up a lot. Not all companies cant get good rates, as its based on how much business you do with the shipper.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.

I ordered the Commuter bag on Friday and got the "Shipping Label Created" status at Jonesboro on Monday. Earlier today it changed and now its "Moving Through Network" at the Atlanta distribution center. Hopefully this gives someone in a similar scenario some details
