I'm sure they can't mess up Mass Effect 4 any more than they messed up the last 15 minutes of Mass Effect 3.

I have no clue why everyone hated the ending. I've played through the series five times and love them more each time I do.

From Battlefield themselves.

The High Frequency Update is by default turned OFF in this release.

You will have to enable this setting to take advantage of the improved networking.

To support players with a limited bandwidth connection, we support three different levels: LOW, MEDIUM and HIGH.

Most players with a connection faster than 1Mbit should be fine using the HIGH setting.

If you experience any issues, lower or turn off the setting completely.

Can someone tell me what net code is?

The netcode is exactly that, the information going back and forth between the server your connected to, and the client your playing on.

Not withstanding all the other players on the map having their connections too.

With the server updating information only 10x a second, it was not getting all the information required (all the objects moving, bullets and projectiles) sent and recieved in timely fashion.

The netcode has been the blamed cause for BF4's issues, and this patch has some changes "for the better" in regards to this updating.

You can youtube/google it more if you want, but the server updates too slow, and game appears broken or with heavy unfluential issues in that state.

So their making it better.

Pretty sure this means they will announce the next game in the series now.

I should have known...

I have no clue why everyone hated the ending. I've played through the series five times and love them more each time I do.

It may have had something to do with them introducing God and completley changing the whole universe as we knew it in the final moments of the game. It was their attempt at a twist ending and they fucked everything up.

Can someone tell me what net code is?

Basically a way to sync everyone and everything in a server with eachother so that what everyone sees is happening as accurately as possible.

If you've ever claimed to have been shot through a wall in BF4 then you've experienced the poor netcode (until now). On your screen you clearly went behind the wall, but because it's not in sync with the person who killed you, on their screen you were not behind the wall yet.

I wonder if players with high ping (like me, because of where I live) will get kicked out of the servers now. That's what held me back from buying it.

Can't you join servers closer to you?

Just in time for their new game, which you can pre-order now! Money gabbing bastards

Took a year to fix Simcity, what's new with EA? I hope they don't screw up Mass Effect 4

That ship already sailed with ME3 and the introduction of microtransaction.

I'm sure they can't mess up Mass Effect 4 any more than they messed up the last 15 minutes of Mass Effect 3.

Amen

I have no clue why everyone hated the ending. I've played through the series five times and love them more each time I do.

You mean aside from the fact that apart from your choice of how you look, it completely invalidates every choice you ever made in ME1 & 2, and boils the ending down to a matter of which colour you'd like to see it in?
