I just played my first shooter on PC and it was amazing.

Not entirely true. While I do prefer mouse and keyboard, I can perform the same with a controller in fps games.

how is this even possible? i use my 360 controller only for racing and action games i just can't use it with any other game

I've played console games and shooters since I was 5 with a controller. So lots of practice basically.

I'm gonna be getting my friend his first PC soon. He's played BF3 for about 3 years on Xbox 360, and since it was free on Origin I told him and we play it together now. At the moment he's using a crappy laptop with an i5 2410M and HD 3000 graphics, at 800x600 minimun details... I can't wait to see the look on his face when he starts playing in 1080p max settings at >60fps :D

Welcome to the PC FPS community, dude! ;)

I actually have two complain right now. Are all servers privately owned? Because most of them have really awkward rules. (Don't use Explosives,...) And I can't find get a pure Team Deathmatch. Most of them are like Capture the Flag.

I feel bad for you that you joined the fps community right now.  You missed on all the GOOD games.  Now you get the shitty COD wannabe's that are literally ruining fps's.  Yes Battlefield is a contributor.  Just go back and play BF2 and you'll see what I mean.

I was playing games on my PSOne years back, recall being rather good at games like Horned Owls and GITS. But, when I started on PC's, well, I discovered the joy of using KB + mouse for great accuracy and speed. Now, I simply cannot fathom the use of a gamepad/controller for FPS/3PS on PC's, simply cannot aim properly with a gamepad. Yes, I do have a wired MS XBOX360 PC gamepad, but I use it primarily for those hack and slash games like DmC, Darksiders and such.

Years back, in another forum, there was a discussion about KB + mouse combo vs gamepad/controller.....nobody disagreed that if you were to take the best gamepad gamer and pit him against the best KB + mouse player in the same game, the former would get owned.

You should get premium. The maps are really cool. Especially the End Game ones. Those are my favourites. Write me a PM if you wanna play some BF3 with me.
