Communication improvements:

  1.  the "14 to 28 days counting from start of shipment" is unclear. The website made me believe it's "14 to 28 days from purchase date".
Even if it would be made clear, it's illogical. LTT store could wait 2 months before shipping and only then the "14 to 28 days" would start to count. (i'm not including the pre-sale items of course, since these are already well communicated)
  2. Any delays or changes to the tracking should be proactively communicated to the end-user. Don't expect the end-user to go enter the tracking number on some 3rd party site.
Even better: don't give them a reason to, for better user experience.
And EVEN better: don't allow them to! because of privacy/scammers concerns, some of these 3rd party tracking sites collect the valid tracking numbers to sell to/be used by scammers

What do you mean?

At the end of this week, (in 4 days), it will be 28 days after I ordered… (and that’s the timeframe I saw when ordering)

and still the tracking link LTTstore sent me shows nothing has happened to the package…

I just wanted to be proactive to prevent late shipments, since even when the package starts to move now, it won’t be in time anymore. Because the only official update I have seen is that FedEx still hasn’t received the package, and so that leads me to believe LTTstore still hasn’t sent it.

Order processing time (time between you place order and it's shipped) is not stated anywhere. Industry standard is 3-5 business days. International shipping takes 14-28 days as stated. This is what courier services give as service promise. Your shipping notice came on 18th of April. Meaning that you should receive it on 16th of May or earlier in order for promised timeframe to be accurate.

When you say that it is normal, does that means, normal in CA/US?

I understand the delay, not the non-communication part. That all.

Finland, ordering from Amazon.de, including Marketplace sellers. My eBay order from The Netherlands also had some delay, sitting in place for a week.

In the checkout page, it shows clearly:

this implies that it includes the order processing time. (notice it doesn't say "estimated shipping")
To compare against "industry standard": i haven't encountered anywhere else where they state "x days estimated delivery" and it excludes order processing time.

The store currently displays a banner linking to:

https://lttstore.gorgias.help/en-US/articles/lttstore-us-and-global-sites-268627

Obviously the whole mess with the US will have disrupted things since their entire logistics went through there and IMO it's highly likely the stated times will be blown.

Being in the European region I always treat LTT store orders as "place it, forget about it, get a surprise 2 months later" even in normal times.

Communication could be better, but I'd expect they don't even know what to tell you given the constant changes over the pond and everyone having to go about without knowing how things will actually pan out.

That link hopefully means things will get better eventually.

If we want to be pedantic, in their page about shipping policy they clearly state that for US and Canada deliveries the time is counted "after your shipping confirmation email is received". While for the internationals orders they only say "Deliveries outside of the US & Canada will take an estimated 14-28 days to arrive, depending on the destination country."

So the count should start from the day you place the order.

But, a part from this, in my personal experience this is the worst and most absurd tracking\shipping method I have ever experienced...
Amazon, here in Italy, notifies you when the parcel departs their wharehouses, you can follow it moving between the various steps and then it notifies you " your parcel is being delivered" the morning it is on the "final step to your house".
Excluding Amazon, I have never seen a delivery system that leaves you so much "in the dark"; even when I ordered something on ebay from a person, if they ship with a tracked system you can follow every step of your parcel (label created, parcel collected, in transit, in delivery etc.) and I am talking about Poste IT (which are notorius for being bad), if we enter in the realm of the UPS, DHL etc.. you have even more informations...

Now, ltt store is not a mom&pop store or a private that sells handmade things on ebay or etsy, it is a multimillion dollars company... I think they should have a better shimpment system in place (I am not saying faster, just better).
Anyway, lets just wait at this point...

This kind of thinking is where I think many of the more idealistic problems lie. The company as whole may be multimillion dollar worth, but store is still small. Expecting more than what brick&mortar or mom&pop can do is already expecting more.

Sure, communication could be a lot better. But then, anything they say will be taken as hard truth, not estimation or best guess. Which leads to not communicating anything unless they can stand behind it.

As for writing the "delivery in" in a way where it states processing time too or having it "estimated time for shipping". For me, ordering from stores where I can choose shipping method, it's no-brainer how to interpret it. But then again, I also check shipping details when ordering from new store.

I've looked it before ordering during the shipstorm, and found that the expected processing time is 72h :

Quote
  • If your order hasn’t shipped within 72 hours and does not contain backordered products, contact support and we will be happy to look into it for you.

https://lttstore.gorgias.help/en-US/my-order-looks-like-it-hasnt-shipped-yet-whats-going-on-218254

We all understand that this is the “normal” processing time, and that an event such as a shipstorm can increase the delay. That said, there is a lack of communication on the subject.

I ordered on April 12nd and my order was officially shipped on April 27th, and got collected by Wizmo (first parcel scan event) on April 29th. As of today (May 8th), the package is still transiting in the USA. If we consider that the “14-28 days” delivery time is from dispatch (and not from order), this gives a delivery window between May 11 and 25.

Just a quick Update from my side. The Parcels seems to be alive again. First it got a new Status "Cancelled"

1090250_3.1.thumb.png.f70f9c2adcbb359976c153076ed66476.png

But after some time it changed again and now trackable with PostNL.

"Parcel Departed Terminal" doesn't seem to really mean much, and appears to be related to it leaving Wizmos warehouses?

My wizmo email link as of today still shows FedEx and the only way to find the PostNL tracking is to put the Wizmo tracking number into the companies tracking portal.

https://portal.shipwizmo.com/tracking.aspx

Where you can get the actual PostNL tracking number which you can then put into the PostNL.Post tracker.

https://postnl.post/

The Wizmo tracking for PostNL appears to be a couple days behind what PostNL actually shows (looks like it stops tracking once out of the country?)

Lttstore in this case "shipped" the order realitively quickly, given the shipstorm promotion, moving the order to Wizmo in around 5 days.

-Wizmo is a dumpster fire of a fulfilment company, they are mostly at fault in this.

-LttStore.com's failure is lack of communication that Wizmo was having issues with shipping (see Dumpsterfire). The Tariff nonsense does not affect LttStore's capability to communicate to it's customers.

My order has now has moved to "This Item is ready for shipment" as 08 May. It is supposedly in Europe (Netherlands). But I have zero faith in the tracking at this point.

Just for thread tracking purpose.

I am in the same boat. Ordered on the 12th, and on the 17th, I received the "shipped" email with the FedEx tracking number. Our orders must be stuck on the same lost pallet.

On a side note, I have not been able to access the support link on the LttStore.com website for a couple of days. I just get the orange spinning ring.

Yep. I was going through the link in the shipping email which redirects straight to FedEx which is showing only the label creation.

You link takes me to a bad gateway error but navigating directly to wizmo and entering the shipping number there shows the same "Parcel Scanned in Terminal" that yours does.

Of my knowledge, Wizmo doesn't have warehouse or actual drivers for that matter. They are really a middleman who takes orders and assigns them to others. So "leaving warehouse" is either LTTStore warehouse or shipping subcontractors terminal.

PostNL tracking seems to be hit and miss. I also got much more details from that Wizmo tracker and even Finlands national postal service which handles end delivery.

Hello,

Seems like I have the same issue. But nothing new since the label creation on my end.

Ordered on the 12th.

Ship confirmed on the 18th.

The wizmo link just shift to FedEx and it only has the label creation record.

Almost 1 month now getting a bit worried.

Screenshot_20250510-234612.thumb.png.d2d8d8abdaf2d81749623ed98e215035.png

Edit: Oh, by using Termite links I have new information...

With another label created on the 2nd of may and departed from Vancouver on the 7th.

Cleared NL customs on the 10th.

Screenshot_20250510-235751.png.fa63ca4c5bbb47fc91769af2c25093d4.png

Communication is a bit messy though. I was checking on the FedEx link from the start and thought it was never shipped.

That's a relief thanks Termite!

Shipstorm turned to real shit

honestly, I don’t care about Wizmo. Who and what are they? I don’t know. I did my purchase with LTT store, I should not be bothered having to check something I don’t trust.

all I care is when my order arrives. And for al I can see, it still hasn’t left LTT after 29 days.

am I acting spoiled/entitled? Maybe so, I’ll admit that.

but then I also would like LTT to admit they aren’t following their own “trust me bro” and “we’ll make it right” credos , for now.
and of course I’ll complain until they make it right and I can trust them again, bro.

Most likely can still be cancelled if it hasn't left their warehouse.

Considering PostNL tracking being broken at the moment, I'm fairly sure it's already arrived to their country.

My own situation:

  • Order confirmation April 24th
  • Shipping notice May 3rd
  • Collected May 9th

17track was showing "pre-declatation" until today (May 12th for me). Wizmo alternative showed more info earlier.

Said what I said since the one I replied to seemed very disappointed and kinda saying he checked and his tracking says it is still at CW.

Who knows...maybe his order still at CW.

Mine currently :

  • Order placed Apr 13th
  • Tracking number sent to my e-mail at Apr 27th
  • PostNL website says "The item is pre-advised to PostNL" until 2 days ago.
  • Changed to "Item has been received by the operator in the origin country" yesterday.

No idea what those status details mean. The chart arrow still at "Preparing" so... I maybe either Canada or USA, idk.

Though if it really is broken like you said, could be anywhere. 😂

Still hasn't been a month since tracking number sent to my email, so... Ima just be patient for now and hope for the best.

I would assume that means the package is in the USA, ready to be shipped to PostNL, but can't really tell, there's not enough info from Wizmo (on my order, the last location from Wizmo is in Vancouver, CA.. I hope not 🙂 )

My own order

Order placed April 12nd

Order shipping notice April 27th

PostNL : "Item is cleared by customs", May 5th

PostNL : "The shipment is handed over in bulk final acceptance of the item to be confirmed" May 9th => Maybe this means it's finally in the netherlands ?

I am not a real fan of wizmo either. But I remember when I was ordering screw drivers at launch and reading posts here from a while before that they were working on shipping times and things will get better. But even after the big surge of screwdrivers was over every order sense has taken at least a week and half to ship or even get a label printed or it gets printed with in a couple days and sits at that stage for two weeks and I thought Amazon was bad for me at 5 days to ship most of the time I don't have prime so kinda get that. But over a week just to print a label months after saying we are working on it and its now years later and same situation makes one wonder.

I had this reply from customer service:

Quote

Due to an error on the part of our shipping providers, a number of orders shipped via FedEx, such as yours, have been stalled after being picked up from our warehouse. These packages are currently in the process of being re-shipped, and affected customers can expect to receive a new shipping confirmation, with a new tracking code, in the coming days.

We apologize for any confusion or inconvenience this may have caused.

I've had a pretty unpleasant shipping experience too. Shipping to NZ, here's the series of events.

I've had no communication or updates from LTTStore on these issues, the only reason I know about the FedEX delays is from checking this thread.

13th April: Ordered

20th April: Dispatched, got Wizmo tracking code that redirected to FedEX 404 error. This eventually stopped being an error page.

[VOID: Package never makes it from Wizmo to FedEX]

3rd May: Wizmo code now redirects to new PostNL code

15th May: Dispatched again, got new Wizmo tracking code that leads to PostNL

15th May: PostNL actually gets package (I hope)

I do understand delays happen, but the lack of updates and multiple emails with tracking codes that lead to 404 does not reflect well on LTTStore

great, now we’re supplying potential scammers with valid tracking numbers 🤦‍♂️

Mine links to that website too now. I found it a little bit odd that Wizmo was linking to a third party tracking website, but it does look like Parcelsapp has been around for a long time and is fairly well regarded.

After one month and one day, still no parcel. Tracking says it is in the Netherlands, I still waiting it in Japan... LTT must improve their communication toward their customers.

I believe customer in the US did not wait 7 days to have their purchases.

Same thing here.
20th of April - order placed

2nd of May - Shipment is on it's way EMAIL - there was no tracking until a week later.

Meanwhile the "View order" from ltt store still says order is confirmed and they will tell me when is shipped lol

14th of May now I see when I track it that it is just being received by the operator in the origin country. So this raises questions, did it take 24 days for the order to be processed by LTT before being given to the courier (CANADA) OR this "Origin country" is considered Netherlands and now it's in Netherlands and is pending to be sent to me (it has to go to another EU country now)?

Tracking is bad, but even worse is that it took them a little bit less than 2 weeks (12 days according to their email, but according to tracking the package was scanned in Terminal on the 6th which means 16 days) to even send out the package which should be because of the shipstorm event, but I guess this is what happens when you want to save $30 on shipping costs. I guess I will not be participating in such events anymore (I will be buying regularly) simply due to them taking more than 2 weeks to ship something and I only save about $30 on shipping costs.
