Whether it's based upon national security or simple breach in privacy from an individual , We all know that it's there , but most of us haven't even raised a voice against it , Even when it was revealed to us only a few dared to step forward and demand an answer.

By itself it's not that bad, the problem is that people are not willing to fight it. I'm clean, so what if the government snoops up on me and finds all my porn? They won't do anything with that information. And that's right, the government can look up your shit, and they won't do anything about it. But you'll be filed. All fine and dandy, but there are two major implications that I care to lay down now.

First, the fact that people are unwilling to fight very much is a slippery slope. Government can now infringe on our privacy. It used to be that people would fight tooth and nail to prevent that... but time has softened people, who are not convinced that we're run by a democracy, a democracy means that the decisions which are taken are the will of the people, and so what does it matter if there's a file with my name on it and my private infos in it? It just means that government can do what it want and people won't raise a finger. It's a green light for government to do what it want.

And this bleeds into my second point - it means that whatever elements of democracy that are currently still upheld will be fading away, creating a political landscape that's even more characterized by the social elite and the technocrats. Those who are in control of the big machine will be able to discredit people like me because they'll be able to pull my file and find out everything about the weird stuff I watch for adult entertainment. So who's going to run for office in 20 years when everything there is to know about everyone is known, and only a select few are able to keep their private life away from the big screen.

To put it simply, we're seeing people surrender their freedom and their privacy in the name of some kind of blind trust in democracy. We've gone soft, and when the elite sees an opportunity to take power away from the dumb indecisive plebs, they take that power and they wield it proudly. Serve the hive.

I think this started with Ed Snowden and what he fucking did with the NSA. It caused such a stirrup and now look at us now.

Every time you send a txtx or email add all the spy agenciy abbrs. to the end so it redflags your message and shunts it off to the priority room to be read, Its going tobe recorded anyway so why not clog them up , think of it as spam they asked for and want I am sure that if everyone did it at the same time , there would be smoke coming out of them hills somewhere and a whole lot of hard drives melting. Start everyday with a smoking smile for a week

I find that Ed Snowden was right in doing what he did as the NSA and the other governing bodies have been going overboard with the "total information" behavior. The only thing he hasn't do is give some really hard evidence like names, dates and wrong doings on the NSA's part for the person/s to be dealt with. It has reached a point where almost all if not all software does/can have a backdoor for them to enter. This is make me want to switch from using windows but to what i don't know.

Just look at what happened to true crypt and that was one sweet software. I understand that they have a job to do and by all means do it as they are the only thing between law abiding citizens world wide and the criminals world wide but to spy on everyone is not acceptable to me.

Why Worry When You’re Helping Them

So who can remember the first digital cameras which had the ability to focus on a pre-assigned face, namely a mate of your, so when in a crowd at a party, the camera automatically focuses on that part of the frame.

Now facial recognition for cameras is just a common feature whether you want it or not and so goes the GPS. Mode, But did you know when you switch it off, it still self activates every now and then in the background so not to attract attention by sucking the life out of the battery.

Put these 2 together and now introduce say FBI, NSA, ASIS, SVR or Interpol’s top 100 profiles embedded into the every digital camera in the world and now you have everyone camera capturing facial images of the bad guys (whilst the users are oblivious) from a very small hidden program. When a top 100 is recognized, a hidden tag is associated and then authorities can authenticate the image along with where and when without you knowing.

Laser printers have been tagging every single piece of paper since day one and still does.

Also its only just been exposed that smart phones continue to collect GPS data for up to a week without a battery or when battery is dies. Now its cool to have a dumb phone as opposed to a smart one.
