Okay, so my laptop was really hot on the bottom, I mean REALLY hot, because the fan broke. so I tried something out. I smeared spit on the bottom of my computer and held it up while just watching a youtube video. Within 10 seconds, there is no wetness on the bottom of my computer and it smells bad. Yikes.

 

Name some other funny tests with hot laptops.

 

BTW, the laptop is a 2011 MacBook Air 11".

I had a HP Pavilion DV6, whenever I played MW3 I had to put freezer bricks (2-3, depending on size) underneath it 5 mins before so that my lap/desk wouldn't melt.

I use to do that as a test for how hot things were as a kid. For example my bike that was out in the sun, I would smear spit on it and see how long it would take to evaporate. Then I would know how hot it was, I was like 9 years old lol

You wiped spit on the bottom of your laptop? That's..... disgusting. My macbook got hot and I replaced the fan with a higher air flow one and boom it was cooler
