Hey guys,

I've done a thread asking for the best water cooling colour scheme and I got mixed results. The fact of the matter is that its all subjective and its up to the builder. So I thought about this for a bit and have decided on a few colour schemes. Here is the few:

  • White accents, Silver blocks, Black overall
  • Yellow accents, Gold blocks, Black overall
  • Mix of Black and White with some colored LEDs lighting up the system.

So, this is simply what I've come up with so far. Its not much but I hope its an idea.

I anything else is ok too. I dont mind.

The only thing about water cooling is that I don't really like red and/or green. Why? because there is too much of it and the image with builds like these is that they all seem as if they're overdone. Especially green (No Offence meant). Also, Red feels like its too overrated. Just all my opinions thou.

Would be greatly appreciated if you guys could help me out here.

If not, that's fine too. I came here to kindly ask for suggestions, not to demand them.

Thanks in Advance,

i would go silver fittings, clear tubing, white coolant, and black blocks if that suits you.

I think white tubing looks better than white fluid in clear tubing...

You don't get the shiny transparent lining that the clear tubing does :\

I think white tubing looks extremely ugly.

I think they look pretty similar...

Clear tubing only looks good as long as it stays clear and doesn't cloud. Also with clear tubing you can see the fluid flow when you're filling/draining :)

But make sure your fluid is pure white, not a yellowish white or watery white :P

I was gonna recommend mayhems. I'm going pastel red and clear tubing with my build. I think it's cool to see the fluid going around

So, if it came down to having a black mobo I would go for it. the thing is. I've seen this board but the orange accents have been bothering me

it makes it look off. imo. http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128723&cm_re=z97_gigabyte-_-13-128-723-_-Product idk. do you think your suggestion would integrate well with this board?

I heard that stuff other than distilled water. (especially those liquids with all sorts of stuff. I've seen some that look like "shampoo" as one newegg host quotes). eh. just what I've heard thou. White tubing would be a good option, but It would prolly not look as good. eh, my opinion.

just my concern, I was worried about that. I guess I stated above about those strange coolants that look like they have particles floating in em.

hmm. interesting. I think I'm seeing a pattern in builds.

not to mention yours specifically, I think I'm starting to get the idea of water cooling builds. They should generally have 3/max 4 colors in em. it makes them look clean. So I think as long as the colours don't conflict. It'll look fine.

hmm. I guess I could consider that. I'll try doin some research on those. not too familiar with the computer water cooling scene yet.

My personal preference for water cooling is as follows

Blocks: EK

Radiators: Aquacool

Reservoirs:  idk. heard the t virus looks cool

Pump: Swiftech

Coolant: ....Mayhems the only name I hear all the time.

Thanks in Advance,

Finding the gold blocks maybe a bit hard but it sure would look good on the new z97 ASUS motherboards.

A water-cooled mid-tier gaming PC.
