Your perfect motherboard.

For me I want an all black board with no onboard audio, dual nics, dual ps/2 and the rest of the IO can be full of usb 2.0 and 3.0 ports. Past that x79 would be nice with quad channel memory and the beefiest VRM solution that can be put onto a board. I want the same onboard buttons that exist on the Z97x SOC force and as many sata ports as the chipset allows. As far as pcie slots are concerned. If it had the same layout as the ASUS p9x79-e ws that would be perfect with all of the slots full size. Of course the board would have to have all the supporting power connecters to run 4 cards but that is ok by me. Dual usb3.0 and 2.0 internal headers would also be nice. What about you guys. What is your dream motherboard.

my perfect mother board is a motherboard that looks like the sexy asus p35 motherboard or DFI LAN motherboards of the olden days :P

and it is somewhat of a motherboard limitation, try to stick 6 dual slot GPU's in any motherboard to date with no PCI-E ribbons

a server board would lack the onboard buttons that i want. and it would probably have a green pcb. The closest thing i have ever seen IO wise was the X58 oc and even then they wasted board space with onboard sound.

How about the single slot bracket and waterblock for the 7990, 6 of them on a board with proper optimization would put out some insane scores in something like 3d mark

The Intel DZ87KLT-75K, except with SLI compatability. So perfect, especially aesthetics.

You don't see a difference after 2 cards so why 6? sounds like a waste of money...

The thread is called " Your perfect motherboard" That means the perfect board that I want, that also includes, the fact that the 6 GPU's would also have to scale up in order for the board to be perfect right? And yes there are plenty of boards that have 6 or more PCI-E slots, now try to take dual slotted GPU's and fit them on any motherboard on the market without using PCI-E ribbons and or waterblocks lol :):P

Decent onboard audio(No isolated audio BS)

No PCI ports(If you really need a PCI port, you should upgrade your hardware)

2 PCIE 16x slots, 2 4X slots

Completely black Board/PCB/Heatsink

Back Io include USB ports, dual Intel Ethernet jacks, audio ports, 1 Display port(troubleshooting)

Decent VRM

Four Fan headers

Basicly, a Z97-WS without all the server testing and under $200. Is it too much to ask?
