Based on this review and specs on the official website, this vertical mount is advised for max 3 slots GPU, which is probably not a great fit for GIGABYTE 4080 Super

It might still be possible to force fit it in by setting the Z-Axis of the mount to as near as possible the motherboard, but it would probably had narrow gap to the acrylic panel on the regular PC case that your GPU is 'choking' of air for cooling

As shown on attached pic and YouTube review reference below, the best case if you still wanna use Cooler master V3 or any additional accessories vertical mount on your 4 slots GPU would be if your ATX/E-ATX case has additional width for dedicated mount slot so that your GPU has breathing room to 'breathe'

image.png.1f9e542409eb43bde2909030606afc6f.png

P.S.

The picture in red circle is probably only for max 1,5 slot of vertically mount GPU without accessories, it is recommended to use vertical mount accessories on wide PC case for a thick 4 slots or more GPU

I’ve been having crazy frame drops in games at 1440p even when I play Fortnite or valorant in 1080p I have crazy fps drops. I’ve tried everything to fix it

define framedrops? what settings, what fps? Does it drop from 300 fps to 180? from 80 to 30?

Is the GPU at 100% usage?

If your 4070 drops to 30% during drops, then your GPU is not the issue.

Can you provide some screenshots about the issue? MSI Afterburner Graph, and make sure to capture things like GPU usage,%, CPU Thread usage, Temperatures, fps/frametimes, Clock speeds, etc.

Does Msi regularly restock their slim cards. I want the 4080 super msi x slim white but it is out of stock? Do they restock for only holidays or just randomly?

Whenever they make them.  They're not a holiday or special event card.   Most companies don't make a lot of white cards, so they OOS oftenish.  It'll be back.

Where are you buying from?  In stock in the US.

Why is the Msi 4080 super slim white out of stock everywhere. Does Msi regularly restock gpus?

White cards usually don't sell very well compared to black cards so they only make a small amount compared to black cards.

They are also slowing down prodution of the RTX 4000 series as we are nearing the launch of the RTX 5000 series.

They should come back in stock soon according to some websites here in Norway but quantity is unknown.

They report stock in mid to late November =/

Thank you for showing me the central computers store I had no idea they even existed. Are they one hundred percent legit and ship to all 50 states?

I've never ordered anything online from them but I've been to one of their retail locations before. From what I've been able to read online they're pretty solid. They do ship to any of the 50 states, the only minor downside I can see ordering from them is it appears they only do 5 to 7 day shipping.

This honestly looks like a good use case for something like the card I have , I think you can get a 4080 super with the same cooler profile , Even if you could fit a 4 slot GPU it would perform worse than a 3 slot because it's going to be suffocating against the side panel.

If I find out it is broken I will rma it and I’ll rma it probably no matter what because I do think something is wrong. do so they can test it there. I would never sell something that doesn’t work to somebody. How would I rma a Galax 4070 would I go through Amazon because I got the Asurian 3 year plan on it. I don’t want a new card though I want a refund to put towards a better one. Do I have the option to get a refund?

Probably, i guess it's best to contact amazon support that something's might be wrong.

i'd still suggest you follow my advice and use the graph to check if ti's actually the GPUs fault or not.

You haven't actually delivered a single piece of information about the Problem except a quite worthless "i don't get good fps". It's like you don't want to solve your problem or even let us solve your problem.

Have you tried a Benchmark? Does it deliver the fps it should? Firestrike, Timespy, etc.

It boggles my Mind tbh, how some people here manage to fabricate their own reason for the problem and suggest to sell it, RMA it or whatever, when there's not a single hint what could be wrong, or if even is anything wrong.

Well my rma comment is a frustrated "fine, do what you want" thing.

When you have kids, you'll use it a lot cuz this is precisely what you get...

So we try to help.  Not much we can do with this.  So RMA it if you're convinced it's not working right.

Done.  👍

I am getting a 4080 super msi slim and a h9 flow case. I want to vertically mount it but don’t know which mount is best. Is the Nzxt mount with the support reject that screws onto the bottom of the case better than the cooler master v3? I want whichever one will sag the least
