Its a new pc too all new parts, literally finished building and setting up windows OS like 2 days ago.

Even in idle sitting on windows wallpaper, Im hitting ~1100 rpm on my 3 case fans and cpu tower fans around 700-800rpm And its pretty loud as it is. And its getting to me, when I watch youtube its loud, gaming its super loud, idle sitting still LOUD!

My current fan curve: Fan Curves

And when I tried gaming 馃拃sounds like an airport next to me. Literally tried running roblox too because everything is loud. Gpu utility is around ~50-80% and cpu util is hopping around ~12-20%. I dont know much about pc, cpu, gpu or fan optimization/tuning, suggest me anything. Im all ears.

My roblox stats for reference: Roblox Stats

EDIT: Oh and Im also running this from a samsung tv using hdmi if that changes anything, Im still waiting on my monitor to come in.

did you check the actual temperatures when gaming and when idle? you only talk about the fancurve and the utilisation. if a bad cooler mount is causing high temps no fancurve will fix it.

What fans?

Hooked up to MB or PSU?

current PC:

Ryzen 5 5600 |16GB DDR4 3200Mhz | B450 | GTX 1080 ti [further details on my profile]

PC configs I used before:

  1. Pentium G4500 | 4GB/8GB DDR4 2133Mhz | H110 | GTX 1050
  2. Ryzen 3 1200 3,5Ghz / OC:4Ghz | 8GB DDR4 2133Mhz / 16GB 3200Mhz | B450 | GTX 1050
  3. Ryzen 3 1200 3,5Ghz | 16GB 3200Mhz | B450 | GTX 1080 ti

If they are brand new fans, they shouldn't make too much noise. If they are screaming, you will need to replace them. If they sound like a really fast drum roll, open the case and check if there are any cables/wires interfering with them. If they are permanently running at full speed, take a look at your temperatures and the fan curves in your BIOS. Failing all that, buy Noctua fans!! They are AWESOME and almost totally silent (depending on the model you buy).

3 that came as case fan on Montech 903 base white (different from what they have on website), and聽Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 SE ARGB for CPU cooling, The case fan and cpu fan

MB, thermalright fans are daisy chained to CPU fans pins, and case fans are put into different Sys_FAN1/2/3

The coolers are mounted in there pretty good, just that when pc start it already starts very loud, and continues to get louder. Im getting normal temps in the 40-60C range for gpu and cpu, just fans to loud.

yeah so at 60C from a fan curve screenshot, that will do almost 80% power to fans,

the Phantom Spirit will spin at 1200 RPM at 80%,

the Montech case fans will run at almost 1300 RPM at 80%

try lowering the fan curve, to like 30%

and reach 80% at like 70-80C

perhaps if you are 60% it won't be as loud,

if the BIOS instantly changes fan curve, when you set it to 100% before confirming saves to BIOS, and your fans start to whine,

you can try different speeds and see how loud they are,

set the case fans slightly slower than the CPU fans because they are louder than the CPU fans.

Ya but why am I getting ~4224MHz with only 2 PERCENT utilization??! even if I ignore the cpu fan going half speed at 53% for some reason. How can the temps idle at 49-50c? Im literally sitting on windows wallpaper doing nothing. Is this a faulty cpu? can I solve this with more fan speed? idk how to combat this.聽

Also I went ahead and made some changes to my fan curve. Thoughts? pretty much replicated the same exact fan curve for sys_fan1,2,3. Making sure the cpu fan runs lightly faster (which is really a ~200rpm diff give or take) did I implement this correctly?
