Hi, I just find these benchmark results odd. I OCd my Crucial Ballistix Sport 2x8GB 9-9-9-24-1T 1.5 Memory with auto settings to 2133MHz 1.5V 11-12-12-32-2T and benchmarked it with MaxxMem2. I never OCd memory before but I though that increasing CL will have big negative effect on latency but from these benchmarks it looks like it doesent. I wonder why is that so? Also does memory OC affect CPU OC? Im currently runing 4770k on air OCd slightly to 4GHz 1.045V, I was able to achieve stable 4.4GHz 1.65V but no matter what I did I could not achieve stable 4.5GHz 1.3V (1.3V on AIR got really hot). That was when I was runing memory on stock 1600MHz. Is it worth to give it a shot and try to OC CPU to 4.5GHz now and see if it is stable or will it have no effect at all?

Never try to find stable cpu overclock while having overclocked memory. It can affect the oc stability.

The best thing to do is to leave the memory on stock, try to find the sweet spot with the vcore and ghz on the cpu and THEN try to oc the ram.

Also, don't go over 1.5volts on the cpu. You can easily fry the processor.

Oh.. I would not even dare to go 1.5V on CPU. Even on 1.3V it did hit 100 degrees ... and that was just for sake of trying if it can be stable on 4.5GHz because I am not sure why 100MHz jump from 4.4GHz 1.65V require so much voltage all of a sudden in order to be stable. (I OCd ram just today. I had my RAM on stock when I was OCing CPU so that should not be cause of stability issues).

It seems that you have a bad overclocker then. It's pure luck to get a good chip.

Most haswell chips are bad overclockers.

Your Ivy Bridge chip amazing though.

This was the jackpot.I've never been so lucky in my life.

I'm limited by my cooler though :|
