resizable bar causes boot loop

Hi 

I have an i5 12400f with an rx 580

but I can't enable resizable bar because it causes boot loop and I have to change gpu bios in order to turn resizable to disabled.

I have a 500gb hdd with mbr format

and a 500gb m.2 ssd that is gpt

also I have windows 11 and my motherboard has 2022 out of the box bios version

what should I do to fix this?

bios update?

installing windows 10?

I'm a pc noob so I appreciate if you could guide me

why even turn rebar is rx 580 doesnt support it, and even with modified gpu drivers, it wont give any performance gains at all

it gives up to 15 fps in games which is a lot for a guy who plays with an rx 580

im not sure thats how it works, it would definetly give 15 fps if it was intel arc gpu

does updating the bios cause cpu problems?

like motherboard not recognizing the cpu or is it safe?

no, bios updates are literally made for it to work better and more stable

OS is on the SSD?

Because Re-BAR I think needs GPT. 

But it probably is I think.

I successfully updated bios and on the secondary gpu bios it says " there is no vbios support detected in this card

bios csm/uefi mode settings in bios will be changed to uefi"

on the main gpu bios it goes on a boot loop

Googling the "there is no vbios support detected in this card" does seem to be an unsolved issue.

But what does GPU-Z show in the dropdown menu in advanced tab?

I mean when the PC boots into OS. Not with Re-BAR enabled.

One option would be to try to update VBIOS, but that might be an ordeal with AMD GPUs.

Looks like TPU has ATIFlash in addition to NVFlash. No clue how hard/risky it is though
