Faulty ram serial number

Hi guys,

I think I have faulty XPG Adata ram, when I put it into the computer I get several beeps and nothing comes up. When I plug other ram in it works fine. I am trying to get the serial number so I can find out if it's still under warranty. Where do I find the serial number? I have looked on the ram and on heat sink but not there. I feel like I shouldn't have to remove the heat sink to find the serial number?

That's why I said would have. Someone took it off, but there would have been a sticker on the ram.

Ah okay. Is there any other way to find a serial number? I managed to use one stick and went into the bios but Adata said the serial number isn't valid

Check the invoice.

But if you can get into the bios, you should be able to load up windows and use cpu-z?
