WHAT IS MY UPGRADE PATH

so i bought this dell optiplax 7020 with a 290 watt  psu i want to replace the psu in the future seen people use 24 pin to 8 pin adapters but what psu should i pick for this

I did find this one is it good

what country?

budget?

and what gpu do you plan on putting in the optiplex?

 

best off buying a used psu or atleast something different

i wanna save up money then buy it i wanna save up about 200 bucks 50 to 70 bucks on the psu the voltage in my country is 230 volts if u wanna fact check my country is UAE and gpu propeply used rx 580

What are you adding to the system? A rx580 should be fine with a 290w PSU.

doesnt have a 6 pin power connector and no i am not comfortable using molex to 6 pin

I'd try that adapter or get a gpu like a 1650 that can run with no additional power. That 290w should be fine for lower end GPU. I don't see a issue with an adapter if used correctly here either.

Not an evga W2, it's a horrific unit

How do you know you can install it in the optiplex? The PSU might not have the correct connectors for the motherboard since the mobo might be proprietary. Check if your mobo uses a 24 pin
