Did I just find an insane deal???

Was looking for a 400-450$ laptop for gaming, and the plan was to trade in my Dell 3520 (i5 1135g7 iris xe graphics) which was 450$ and get something else. I think I found the jackpot tho? I5 12th gen and gtx 1650 seems like an INSANE 400$ deal.

Note: I have a 8x2 and 16x2 laptop ddr4 ram kit, and a 8x2 laptop ddr5 kit.

It seems to be used with damage. The listing states that, " Condition: Good, camera does not work."

I suppose if that's is not a problem then yes its a pretty good deal for a laptop

I mean I never used my laptop camera in all my time of having one, excluding during covid. But I have a usb camera so I would say that's not a problem.

It's a decent deal.  Basically you're buying a used laptop, as if you bought it off Ebay.  Visible signs of use could be anything from worn plastic smoothed down to key lettering being gone.  Camera not working means physical damage happened at some point usually, unless it just stopped working thru a defect.

8GB RAM will need to be upgrade too, so check upgradability.

^^^

if its just the camera module itself thats broken replacing it should fix the camera if its even broken to begin with and not just a loose connector where you just have to dissassemble the thing and reseat the camera connector on the board

yes check ram upgradability aswell cause fully soldered ram with no ram slots and its a no go

Alr how can I check this? I know this is annoying from certain lenovo laptops I tried to take ram from and there just wasn't anything (most at least have 1 slot though correct me if im wrong, I know my lenovo t14 2nd gen has 16gb of soldered ram and 1 slot free)

Yes - higher speed RAM should work, just obviously at the lower speed.
