FB market place or ebay trustworthy?

I currently have an xbox series s and am looking to sell it to buy a pc instead. Is it safe to put my address out in plublic to sell it? Will giving my phone # to ebay or something make me get ads?

Whenever you make an account somewhere you are selling some amount of your data, FB marketplace gives an "approximation" of your location, so if you live in a very low density area, you may as well give an address. That said, I've seen listings that don't give a location, and you can do public meetup at a police station or Post Office which I would recommend. You can absolutely make a burner account to sell, and use a burner email as well. FB Messenger with that burner will also help with security as it's a burner account.
