I'll keep this post simple..

As you have probably guessed from the name of the topic..

Will I have absolutely any problems with running x3 23" 1080p Monitors with a Single GPU?

GPU: EVGA GTX 780 DualFTW ACX (Overclocked)

Monitors: ASUS MX239H IPS Panels (60Hz)

The rest of my current PC is in my profile, in case you need to see something.

PS: They will be setup side-by-side in Landscape with NVidia Surround for gaming.

It will be fine as long as you turn down from ultra.

Awesome! What a great resource. Thanks so much for those links. Gonna go read them right now.

Damn.. Do I really need to turn down from ultra/max settings? :(

I really did not want to do that.... So are you sure? How much effect would it be if I did play on Ultra? What FPS, any negative effects, etc?

Your welcome. I know you wanted to play in triple screen 5760x1080p but why not in portrait. Maybe you could turn one off during a gaming session and then turn you settings to ultra.

Well you can clearly see that all games run below 60 on ultra in guru3d review.

Surround is a novelty, but it's not really an optimal gaming experience.  As a result, you shouldn't be too disappointed with the lack of performance with just a 780.  2560x1440 is sexier anyway.

You would probably want a second 780 if you want to run ultra with 60fps for the newer games.

PC: Corsair C70 Arctic, FX 9370, Corsair H80i, Gigabyte 990fxa-ud3, Corsair Vengence 16gb, Palit JetStream GTX 970, OCZ Vertex 4 128gb and Western Digital Blue 1Tb + 500gb, Antec Gamer 520w

Peripherals: Logitech G19 and SteelSeries Sensei RAW

Toshiba L50-A: i7 4700mq, 8gb, 1TB HDD, GT 740M 2gb

Idk, just never was a big fan of portrait.. Then again, I've never tried it. But the mount I got is articulating, so.. I'll give it a spin! Literally.

And that's definitely not a bad idea. Surely a possibility, playing with just two screens for the sake of max settings haha.

Well you can clearly see that all games run below 60 on ultra in guru3d review.

Yeah, after reading that article (which helped a lot) I can see that now. But that article is a year old today (exactly) so wouldn't new drivers & such help towards performance?

True story there. And I'm not. SLI with another 780 is definitely something I've always wanted.. But since I can play just fine and lower AA or something and still have good FPS, I'll hold off for a decent price drop considering I just spent $800 on monitors + mount.

You would probably want a second 780 if you want to run ultra with 60fps for the newer games.

I've learned that now. But I can always lower a setting or two, if need be.

But sooner or later I'll have a second 780 anyways.

Thanks everyone! My question has been answered above and beyond.

Thanks man :) I surely like it.

As far as my name.. you are SO not alone.. I don't know why, but everyone thinks my name has an L in it. I guess because in proper English, "i" or "y" being at the end of a word is somewhat unique. Especially that mine has both, lol. Not to mention, it's a Russian name; so it makes sense.

Ohh, thanks so much! Thumbs up for sure. This gives me an exact idea of my performance.

You're just using one GTX 780, right?

Even more so, that gives my GTX 780 OC even more hope.. :P

The gameplay seemed just fine, and I presume was at around ~35-40 FPS. Which if I get with Ultra+AA, then I will be a happy camper. I'm okay with lowering a setting or two, though, as I said - until I adapt a brother for my current 780. :D
