Distiled watter is best for watter cooling ?

Hello.

I saw on some videos Linus mentioned he adds hydrogen peroxide few drops to distilled watter so water wont grow bacteria ?

I know distilled water best choice for water cooling. What you suggest to add to water so water wont get bad and hold at least one year. I am using copper water block and aluminum heatsink. So need solution who wont eat aluminum as well. Is hydrogen peroxide good enough ? Or should i use small drop to one liter potasium permanganate ? Need solution for watter to not grow bacteria and be good for cooling.

mixing metals = you'll need to refresh the coolant cuz it won't last a year

That can't be achieved as far as I know, the water will always pick up Ions from the metal, but as long as all major components are the same metal, it doesn't matter.

Problems come when you mix metals, because then a process called galvanic corrosion starts, which will destroy the quite reactive aluminum.

English is not my first language, so please excuse any confusion or misunderstandings on my end.

I like to edit my posts a lot.

You say aluminum heatsink, so it's not a water block?

Water block on CPU is copper and the heatsink is aluminum. Its water cooling system.

Have this cooler want to know what to add to water so it wont grow bacteria.

something like this could work, but EK suggests at the bottom of the page that the coolant should be changed at least once per year

Yes don't do that indeed  the metal mix will create reactions and clog the pump

Else adding some isopropanol or even white vinegar (anything alcooholic) is recommended to avoid lifeforms

90% aios use aluminum rads to cut costs and they have a liquid that can handle the mix metal.
