No budget as long as it isn't more than like 1500-2000$ USD.

What's a good low profile laptop for work and gaming at 1080p 60-120hz at low settings (or medium settings on less intensive games like Fortnite/Minecraft)

Problem with my current laptop is it has an i5 1135g7 and iris xe graphics, but even on dell's preset "cool" setting the laptop will keep getting loud and still doesn't go below 60 C, commonly going higher. (Keep in mind this is while idle on google or nothing open)

if you're running at higher refresh rates and low settings a better cpu can do you good ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 Gaming Laptop, 14" QHD 165Hz Display, AMD 8-Core Ryzen 9 7940HS, GeForce RTX 4060, 32GB DDR5, 2TB PCIe 4.0, VR Ready, Single-Zone RGB Keyboard, WiFi 6, USB-C, HDMI, Win 11 Pro - Newegg.com

OR

Amazon.com: EXCaliberPC 2023 ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 GA402XI-G14.R94070 (AMD Ryzen 9 7940HS, 32GB RAM, 1TB NVMe SSD, RTX 4070 8GB, 14" QHD+ 165Hz, Windows 11) Gaming Notebook - Moonlight White : Electronics

And i've already contacted support but apparently it's just due to terrible cooling and the fact that it's an 11th gen cpu. According to reddit intel tried to brute force power into these cpu's, increasing temps

yeah intel (especially laptop chips as well as the high end desktop ones) are known for being hot

my dad has a laptop with an i7 1165g7 and it still gets really hot while just browsing. my amd 5700U is golden though, but current intel on laptop isn't bad. it's just the G7 and G5 of 11th gen were quite bad

my main rig a HP omen 16 in reviews was getting temps of 85c at 3.4 ghz and with a proper iets gt 500 cooler i get max 50c stressing at 3.4ghz i can even run 4.6ghz with my 11800h which is rare. been running max fan nonstop for 2.5 years and no hitch. built like a tank below is my temps after a throttlestop stress test and idle temps.
