I hear voices that aren't real when I wear headphones

Are you stressed out about relaxing and constantly thinking someone's going to call you for mundane assistance?

I had a similar issue living with my parents; my mom would always call out my name and say whole-ass sentences from a different room even though she knows I prefer to wear headphones all the time to drown out the house noise. Needless to say, I could never zone out properly until I moved out.

This has been a thing for awhile. Any time I wear my ANC headphones and I'm playing a game I'll hear voices of people calling my name but when I take them off nobody was saying anything. Is this common for others?

I had a slight feeling of low pressure for a few days when I first got mine, but no weird voices in my head.

i know it may sound weird. but... you aren't alone. i have anc headphones and in certain usage ill hear sounds that sound like they are calling my name and distract me. its nothing major its just kinda getting used to the sounds and how your headphones work. you aren't crazy lmao.
