So I downloaded everything last night, and had a good time listening to a lot of it at work today. Pretty interesting how he uses lyrics/recordings from older songs.

Can I recommend a whole entire album?

Inception OST! Great tracks, most of them are slow paced.

On top of that, have some more FF moosic.

I'm guessing you listened to his older stuff, his newest album is actually completely original.

He sampled from recordings written by himself in collaboration with other artists, and for some reason I prefer these recordings to the the songs they were made into.

Yea it really gives his music an old school feel. He's got a lot of the newer EDM ish beats that I enjoy but they feel jazzy kinda. Pretty sweet

Thanks for posting those- I had no Idea these existed but they are fantastic! I am really digging the A Color Map of the Sun Remixes. Had that album on repeat for a couple days now xD

Oh I listened to those as well. c:

Live studio sessions are always the best. The way each individual microphone picks everything up, and the way the musicians respond to what each other is doing, adds an interesting vibe you don't get with most music now a days. Probably one of the many reasons why the Beatles are still so popular.

Edit: Since seeing Fantasia 2000 as a kid, Rhapsody in Blue has always grabbed my attention.
