Need help choosing a OS for my NAS

Hi!

I have built a NAS using Linus's video about the 100TB Jonsbo NAS as a reference.

I am currently struggling to find an OS that will work for me...

I have tried, TrueNAS Core/Scale, Unraid and CasaOS but for whatever reason I can always get Media to work but when it comes to trying to get Crafty or MineOS for Minecraft server management I am at a standstill and it just doesn't work...

Seriously contemplating installing windows and using that as I know that will work. I will admit my knowledge only lies with Windows and not any Linux distros or NAS specific OS.

I am wondering if anyone has got a NAS setup where they are using it similar to how I intend to use mine.

Any help is appreciated.

Many thanks,

Josh

Those OSes are all the normally recoomend ones. I'd run truenas scale, and you should be able to fire up a vm for a minecraft server.

Can you be more specific about the issue you have in trueNAS?
