After a restart, how to force MS Windows to reopen previously opened applications like on MacOS?

You could also try reinstalling the device driver.

I think your best option is to hibernate your machine. This should dump your memory to disk, which Windows will read back into memory when you boot up.

If using Windows 11, open Settings, click "Accounts", click "Sign in options" then scroll down to additional settings and turn "Automatically save my restartable apps and restart them when I sign back in" on.

If your using Windows 10, open Settings, click "Accounts", click "Sign in options" then scroll down and enable this setting:

After my PC waking up from Hibernation or Sleep, it can't connect to the internet. Is there anyone else experience the same?

 

I tried to run command to flushdns, renew, etc but no luck. I end up have to reboot to connect to internet again.

Have you tried running the Internet Connections troubleshooter?
