Recommended CAT6 cable to replace Corax cabling?

DankDoodles

Currently, my house is running on some old coax cabling and I plan on replacing it.

My new internet plan will be 1G Fiber hosted by Frontier.

From my research, if I am running a brand new line across my house, I should go with CAT6 ethernet.

The problem is, that there are a lot of different types of CAT6 ethernet cables.

Can someone recommend me, preferably Amazon links, a CAT6 ethernet cable that is greater than 200 to 400 feet in length?

Thanks!

I'm only aware of two official standards, Cat 6 and Cat 6a. Cat 6 is specified to run 10 GbE up to 55m (165 ft). Cat 6a goes up to 100m (~328 ft).

If you find cables longer than this, they're out of spec. Doesn't mean they won't work at that length, just that it's more likely you'll see drops in speed. But for 1 GbE it might still be fine.
