No, why pre-order something when you can buy it on the day. Something bad could also occur like the Simcity incident. Why not have that money for a longer time, just in case.

Already did :p I actually bought it on the day they made it pre-orderable.

 

Love the Battlefield series too much, not to do it but who knows maybe EA will fuck it up in the future and I may not do it ever again.

If they are worth it then sure. But I usually find the decrease of the price of the game after a week is more worth it (from my game source) is more worth it.

I have not pre-ordered as of yet but i plan to when it gets closer to the release date. Just to see if i can get and freebies with the pre-order

haven't even played bf3... ever... cuz you know.. EA, but more importantly origin. I have steam, don't want another program to have my games on next to it. so i won't.

I played the crap out of 1942 and BF2. BF3 though I did enjoy it, it was just meh. It didn't keep me sucked in the way BF2 did for nearly 4 years. BF3 will be my last Battlefield game unless a friend can really talk me into getting BF4 after release.
